It depends on the sport. In baseball, D1 coaches cannot contact players until August 1 before junior year. In softball, the D1 date is September 1 of junior year. For both, D3, NAIA and JUCO coaches have no restrictions at all, and D2 opens earlier than D1.
Yes. Players can email coaches at any time in either sport — the restriction is on when a D1 coach may respond, not on when you may write. CommitU shows you when coaches open your emails and view your Resume.
Yes. Softball is live, with its own college coach database, its own metrics (home-to-first, bat speed, pitching velocity), its own positions, and its own recruiting calendar. You choose the sport when you create a player profile.
A public recruiting profile page for your player that you can share with coaches. Every recruiting email sent through CommitU includes a link to their Resume, and you can see when coaches view it.
Yes. Add additional player profiles under the same account. Each player has their own profile, emails, and Resume — including a baseball player and a softball player on the same account. A 50% family discount applies to each additional player.
Update their status to Committed in the app. Their Resume will reflect the commitment and outreach will pause automatically.
